Welcome! I’m Tia Ybarra, the proud owner of Paw & Order Harmony.
Growing up in Butler County, I was always immersed in books about dogs. My passion for working with them ignited when my father introduced me to dock diving before he passed away. Although I didn’t have my own dog, my aunt would drive her Mountain Cur mix from Ithaca, NY, so I could compete as a junior handler.
In 2016, I began my career as a freelance dog trainer, specializing in service dogs. I trained my own medical alert and response service dog, Fizz, but soon discovered my true passion was in obedience and behavioral modification for pet dogs, particularly challenging cases. Finding Paw & Order was a turning point for me.
I firmly believe that happiness comes from a well-trained dog, and I strive to bring this joy to families so they can fully enjoy their pets. I continuously seek further education in dog training methods, as the learning never ends.
I am certified through the AKC (American Kennel Club) and serve as an approved evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen program, a therapy dog certifier for Therapy Dogs United, and a certified judge for W3PO (World Wide Weight Pull International). As a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), I have attended numerous seminars, including “Training Between The Ears,” “Advanced Canine Fitness,” and “Aggression In Dogs.” My extensive training in dog aggression allows me to effectively address challenging behavioral issues, and I take great joy in helping dogs reach their full potential.

In the Butler, PA canine justice system, the dogs are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: The professional dog trainers, who investigate and solve the dog’s behavior problems; and the dog owners, who uphold the training knowledge taught to them.
