In the canine justice system, the dogs are represented by two separate yet equally important groups:

The dog trainers, who investigate and solve the dog’s behavior problems; and the dog owners, who uphold the training taught to them.

These are their stories…

They did an absolute wonderful job with my dog (Max). He is a rescue with an unknown past and had an issue (leash aggression) that I didn’t know how to handle. They offer a train at home option where they come to you and work with your dog and your family on training. I learned that most of the hurdles were mistakes we were making.

Our trainer came over many Sundays and we met at outside locations until we were satisfied that Max was where he needed to be. Now he walks off leash, obeys all basic and some advanced commands. Their willing to work with your schedule, the ease of in-home training, and awesome employees make this a 5 star business.

My family and I had the pleasure of working with Jamie for helping us with our aggressive chocolate lab. She was able to show us how to calm him down, show him that we are in control not him, and walking him on the leash with out pulling. Since our services with Jamie, our dog is calm when we have company in our home and around other dogs, no more aggressive behavior and he no longer pulls us on walks. Prior to Jamie teaching us the techniques to walk him on a leash, I was unable to walk him because he would just pull me all over, I couldn’t keep him in control if he saw a person or dog on our walks. Now I can freely move my arms and he walks next to me calmly! We highly recommend Paw & Order!

Quit simply, Paw & Order made our dog a valued part of the family. Battler, a Japanese Akita, was showing signs of aggression at an early age. As a puppy we tried puppy class at a franchise store, It was a total waste of time. We then went to a highly recommended trainer. She stated that he was too aggressive for her and only suggested medication. She also refused to allow him in class (no refund by the way). At our wits end, and concerned for our then 3 year old, we came across Paw and Order. Battler completed the board and train program, which resulted in a well behaved Akita that is a cornerstone for our family. We recommend Paw and Order to all of our animal friends!

So happy I found these guys! After my bother sent his pup and I saw their results, I knew this was my best chance. Having a very active six month old Newfie, who also travels to work with me every day, I knew I needed some help. She was never “bad” but just had some puppy behavior that was above my ability! We did the board and train and honestly it was the best decision I’ve ever made. She is a completely different dog and honestly one that everyone enjoys now! I’ve never had a dog that was actually trained well and listened at the drop of a dime, and now I do. I’m so grateful for Paw & Order. I will continually recommend them! Thanks again guys and I can’t wait for our first pack walk!

Our advice: stop what you’re doing (unless it’s working!) and hire Paw & Order. They helped us in ONE consultation - that’s right, ZERO lessons- when 3 other professional dog trainers that specialized in “behavioral modification” could not. Our dog, Clyde, has been reactive since he was about 6 months old (he’s now 2). We have worked tirelessly to train him, using self-educated methods from books and online as well as professional trainers, but made little progress.

The one thing none of our previous trainers picked up was how solid Clyde’s obedience foundation actually was. All of the trainers we had used told us that “it’s your confidence level as a handler, he needs better obedience.” Our confidence level as handlers increased only as a result of our session with Paw & Order. They showed us the RIGHT way to use the tools we had been given and has changed the game for us.

Ash from Paw & Order was great to work with. One of the things we loved most about the training Paw & Order was that it was geared towards our dog's issues. Ash listened to what our problems were and she catered the training to his needs and what we wanted. Ash is very responsive during the time between training sessions. She always welcomed calls and texts on any questions we had. Our dog has anxiety and Ash gave us tools to help control his anxiety and give him confidence. Paw and Order has been beyond helpful and we are very thankful we hired them. Plus our dogs love Ash!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Elissa and Paw & Order. We have 2 American Mastiffs that we wanted to fine-tune training with. Neither were very responsive to us and one was beginning to become protective/aggressive in public settings. While they were absolute sweethearts, we knew we had to do something. Within the first session, we could see immediate results. Paw & Order will work with you until you achieve your desired results, but you have to be willing to put it the work! Training for your dog is just as much, if not more, training the owner! We now have continued support through Paw & Order and get together with other clients for "group walks" and various activities. It is truly a family and continued support group. One of the best decisions we've made! We would recommend Paw & Order to anyone in need of dog training! They enriched our lives as well as our dogs lives. We are now confident when we take our dogs out in public settings, and we can tell our dogs are much more comfortable. In fact, one of our AM's was just in an H&R Block commercial and if it had not been for the hard work we put in with Paw & Order, this would not have been a possibility! Thank you Paw & Order for the great experience!

I contacted Paw & Order Training for a few different reasons: My dog was leash reactive. I was embarassed and stressed to walk her in my neighborhood in fear that she'd bark, lunge and pull when she saw any other dog nearby. She also had anxiety with nail clipping. I, as well as any other professional dog groomer/vet, were unable to trim her long nails. I was told by groomers that she would have to be sedated in order to trim her nails because it was such a traumatic experience. She also needed general training to improve her manners and not jump on people when they came in the front door. My trainer, Jamie, worked with us on all of these issues. I am very pleased at how well her behavior has improved with training. Now I have no concerns about walking her past other dogs in my neighborhood. I'm also able to trim her nails on my own. Jamie was attentive and a pleasure to work with. She continues to check in on us and invite us on pack walks with other dogs that she trains. I would recommend Paw & Order Training to anyone who has a dog with behavior issues.

I called Paw and Order looking for help with my 3 yr old Tennessee treeing brindle. We had gone through another trainer, as well as, books, how to videos. He was very aggressive towards other family members, friends and strangers. We set up the consultation and waited anxiously for the big day. Elissa arrived on time and was very bubbly and friendly. You can tell dogs are her passion. She was able to give us a timeline and what to expect. It has been a lot of work but after 3 sessions of training, Flynn is doing so much better. I cannot begin to convey how grateful our family is to Elissa for giving us the ability to keep our Flynn. She is the real deal!!!

We consider ourselves fortunate to have found Elissa to help train our Aussie. He's a smart dog but showed fear-based aggression that was headed down a rocky path. Walking him near strangers was worrisome; he began to guard his day care providers; and he wouldn't let anyone come into our house! Elissa provided smart tools, and made his training fun. She's developed a bond with our dog, whose new tolerance was tested at holiday time. We think he'll grow up as the family dog we want him to be. Thank you, Paw & Order!

I reached out to Paw & Order after doing research on training companies in the area and reading all the positive reviews they have. They offer different options for training, so for my Cavachon puppy, I requested the in-home training sessions. The trainer comes to you and works with you and your dog on issues you are having. My goal is to have my Cavachon (Boo) pass the Therapy Dog test. The issues I wanted to work him on were heeling on a leash, stop barking at people passing when he's out on the deck or when visitors come to the door, and listening to me when there are other things going on. We worked with Tia and she was AMAZING. Boo responded immediately to her, and she showed me exactly what to do.. I can honestly say, many of the people Boo and I encounter (including family, friends, and co-workers) comment on how well behaved he is. This is thanks to Tia and our training.

Paw & Order also offers pack walks to continue to work on skills (free) and meetings with other dogs in training or graduated from training (free). It's good to keep working with Boo and reviewing our skills, and I also get to know others from the training programs, including trainers.

I cannot recommend Paw & Order enough! We adopted our hound mix Moose in March and the shelter estimated his age to be around 7-8. We found out later from the vet that he is closer to 3 and had the rambunctious personality to prove it! We were desperate to change some behaviors and nothing we were doing was working.

Within one session, Moose was much more chill and better behaved. At the end of training, we have a completely different dog! She really took the time to listen to our concerns and tailored a training plan to our needs, it wasn't a one-size-fits-all "obedience class" and she made sure we knew what we were doing to practice the skills we learned between training sessions. We (and Moose!) could not be happier with the changes we have seen.

I could not have been more pleased with my experience at Paw & Order. My husband and I did the Board & Train for our 6 month old Doberman Pinscher whose favorite past time was being naughty! We could not believe the change in him when we picked him up. Prior to our board & train, my husband was really struggling with having a dog. Constantly frustrated with his misbehaving, he wanted nothing to do with him. It was to the point where I considered re-homing him because of the depression and anxiety it was causing for my husband. Literally, the day after bringing him home from the board & train, he texted me the following: "This is so nice!! He's so good now. I just caught myself wondering if there are any dog friendly breakfast places I can go to lol" That text melted my heart.

We get constant comments from the public about how impressed everyone is with his behavior and manners. The training also didn't stop when we brought our pup home. Several times a month they have "Pack Walks" where you can bring your dog to a trail to work on their walking training and socialize with other well-behaved dogs! It was such a great perk! The program is worth every penny and I would recommend it 100 times over! Thank you Brittany and the Paw & Order team!!

Totally amazing business!I met with the owner with my 12-year-old Pomeranian that I had just adopted from Rescue. He was having some issues with snapping that I couldn't wrap my head around and I wasn't sure how to proceed. Kobe took to Elissa right away and was definitely responding to her methods in the short hour that we were there. I was given instruction and tips on how to continue with the training at home and I am confident the outcome is going to be as desired!

I really didn't know anything about dog training and the session was very educational for me as well. Price was reasonable and there were was no pressure to purchase a full package when it was not necessary which was much appreciated! If I need further guidance, I would not hesitate to go back!

I have a 10 m/o Red Lab who has already had emergency surgery to remove a glove from his small intestine (seems he has a special love for eating socks and gloves), and refused to sleep thru the night (among other problem behaviors). I was like a zombie from not sleeping and having to constantly watch his every move...then someone suggested I contact Elissa. After my initial consultation I knew she was going to be the help I desperately needed! We chose the board and train program.

We spent almost 2 hours with Elissa on the day we picked him up, going over all he learned. I was in TOTAL amazement the whole time - I couldn't believe how well he was listening and obeying commands. But the real proof is in how we were able to seamlessly continue with everything he learned - Elissa provided us with everything we needed to transition back to our home. In addition to correcting his problem behaviors, I am now able to have him off-leash, and he heals on walks like a champ! And, learning the place command was a total bonus!! Everyone around us is amazed in all the positive changes, and I'm no longer a zombie. The Paw and Order Board and Train program was THE BEST $$ I have spent in a long time, and I would give a 10 star rating if possible!!
