Central Ohio Pack

Chad Harper is the head trainer of the Central Ohio Pack. His love for dogs began when his father brought home a Beagle trained for hunting. Throughout his childhood, Chad’s family enjoyed a Springer Spaniel, Brittany Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel. Chad was intrigued with the hunting dogs and enjoyed watching them work. He was amazed at how obedient they were to his father. Chad’s love for dogs continued when Jax, a Boxer mix became his personal dog and he began training him on obedience.

Chad comes to our Paw & Order family from American Court Services, a nationally recognized company that provided supervision solutions for courts and probation departments. During his 15-year tenure with the company, Chad served as the GPS supervisor, monitoring court defendants throughout Ohio. He was accepted into the company’s K9 drug detection unit as a K9 Handler and following the sale of American Court Services in 2020, he became a K9 Handler for American K9 Detection Services. He was paired with K9’s Rowen and Macy, both Belgian Malinois and both nationally certified narcotics detection dogs. Chad and K9 Rowen achieved notoriety in 2020 as Top Narcotics Detection Team at OnPoint K9’s police competition in Kentucky.

Chad and his family recently added another canine family member, a Yorkshire Terrier named Crue. Chad’s love for dogs has always been in his heart and he enjoys training his working dogs and family dogs.
